About Arman Hamidian

Arman has previously worked in various research settings with a strong emphasis on the social determinants of health, including the Centre for Urban Health Solutions, the Centre for Global Child Health, the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, and most recently at the Wellesley Institute. Arman worked in Minister’s offices for the Ontario government from 2016 – 2018. Some highlights of his role were assisting with policy development on the Safer Ontario Act, creating consumer protection resources for all ridings, as well as coordinating public appointments to Police Services Board in Ontario with an objective of increasing diversity in order to reflect the needs of policing today. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, and in the process of developing a new strategic plan with fellow board members and staff.
